Twilight:
Ok, so I can guess that most of you will think me crazy for actually reading this book, but...I did! And I kind of liked it.
~It is a book about vampire so there was some intense fight scenes and darkness. Some dark magic too.
I wouldn't really recommend this book only because of the however many pages in the middle of the book that was a little too much. Edward spies on Bella in her sleep and once spends the night in her room though he doesn't sleep with her. Nothing really goes on between the two of them, just a couple of kisses and hugging.~
For the most part I did like this book, just a little bummed out about the middle of the book.
So a little bit about the story:
Bella moves from Arizona to Washington where she meets Edwards who she instantly grows attached to. Even when she learns he is a vampire and is thirsty for her blood she still doesn't run from him.
Edward also falls in love with Bella, but because he wants to keep her safe he tries to keep his distance from her, but for some reason can't and he soon gives up trying.
Bella is blinded by her love for Edward. I believe this is an example to us of how dangerous it can be to let our emotions take control. Inside Edward is a beast and a monster, but Bella is so emotionally and physically drawn to him she can't even see it. So she goes after him and chooses to stay with him and this may cost her her life.
Crossed:
I really, really liked this book! The sequel to Matched and just as good as the first! The society controls people in every way. Who they will love and what they will do and eat. But Cassia doesn't like it. She wants the choice. To choose who she will marry and what she will do with her life.
She leaves Oria to find Ky who was sent to the Outer Provinces...to die. On the way she makes new friends and learns of the Rising, a rebellion starting against the Society. She wants to be a part of it and start a new beginning, but Ky what's nothing to do with it.
Ky or the Rising...
~Ky and Cassia kiss and there is death and blood, but other than that this book is rather clean.~
Reached:
I finished this book just a couple days ago, yes this book was finished in April, but oh well, I will keep it in the March section:
This is the third and finally book in the Matched serious. I really loved these books, they come into a close second from the Hunger Games. Unlike the Divergent and Maze Runner serious that I now find very disappointing.
~They are rather clean books, there is a few cuss words and some kissing, but that is about all~
The Rising is beginning to take it's hold of the Society through a Plague. Ky, Cassia, and Xander are all in on it, but sometimes find themselves longing for something else...for each other.
But too soon the Rising loses it's control along with the Society when a mutation arises and they only have a sort time to find a cure before the population becomes no more. Will the three of them be able to find it soon enough and will it end they way they had hoped? With freedom of choice for themselves and those they love?
