Not Part of the Plan- GirlDefined

I was so thankful to again be chosen to be a part of the launch team for GirlDefined’s new book: “Not Part of the Plan: Trusting God with the twists and turns of your story.” I was so excited when they announced this new book. I’ve been so encouraged as I’ve followed the story of Bethany’s long journey of singleness and Kristen’s trial of infertility. Their openness to these struggles have encouraged me so much as I see their love for the Lord grow even in the midst of hard. I remember hearing Kristen share of her third miscarriage at the 2019 GirlDefined conference- months after a big and hard life disappointment for me. I was lost and confused and my only hope was to cling to the Lord as my life didn’t go in the direction I had hoped it would. And hearing the struggle Kristen had gone through and how the Lord comforted and worked in her heart was so helpful.  I was so excited to read this book. I’ve loved every book of theirs. Love Comes Softly Serious...

Loves Unending Legacy~
     Marty and Clark returned home from spending a whole year with their daughter and her family.
Trails and hardships lay ahead for the family as everyone gets older and life changes.  Their children are all growing up, having families of their own, going to school, and trying to find the right partner.  Each of them are going through trails and facing difficulties.
And there is a surprise...a little bundle of joy!


Loves Unfolding Dream~
     Belinda, Marty and Clark's youngest child, has always hurt to see things in pain.  Hurting animals and people, bring sorrow and grief  to her.  Luke, her doctor brother, ask her to help him on some of his errands.  Will she be able to handle all the pain and sorrow?  Will she be able to help her brother?
Belinda's niece, Melissa, (Missie's daughter) comes out to live with them for the last two years of grade school.  Will they be friends, will Amy Jo, Belinda's other niece who lives next store feel left out?  Will all three of them be friends and be able to go through girlhood into womanhood together?



Love Takes Wing~
     Belinda Davis has trained as nurse and helped along side her brother for a couple years.  She has seen all her friends grow up and get married, and feels a little left out and confused.  She has had opportunists to settle down and have a family too but she doesn't feel ready.
A sick lady comes in and Belinda spends her days nursing her.  The two become friends soon and when the lady is feeling better she invites Belinda to come to Boston with her.  Belinda hurriedly agreed thinking that she needs to get away and find excrement in the big city!
But she still feels that something is wrong and missing.  Why does she feel so empty inside?
