Not Part of the Plan- GirlDefined

I was so thankful to again be chosen to be a part of the launch team for GirlDefined’s new book: “Not Part of the Plan: Trusting God with the twists and turns of your story.” I was so excited when they announced this new book. I’ve been so encouraged as I’ve followed the story of Bethany’s long journey of singleness and Kristen’s trial of infertility. Their openness to these struggles have encouraged me so much as I see their love for the Lord grow even in the midst of hard. I remember hearing Kristen share of her third miscarriage at the 2019 GirlDefined conference- months after a big and hard life disappointment for me. I was lost and confused and my only hope was to cling to the Lord as my life didn’t go in the direction I had hoped it would. And hearing the struggle Kristen had gone through and how the Lord comforted and worked in her heart was so helpful.  I was so excited to read this book. I’ve loved every book of theirs. I doing my blog again!!

I am so sorry everyone for my laziness of doing my blog.  I have missed a lot of books.  Grandma (King) you have really encouraged me in this blog "stuff", and you keep up with them too, so I am sorry.  And Uncle Kyle you set it up and everything for me.  I am sorry. And Aunt Cindy has encouraged me too!

The Clue of the Tapping Heels; Nancy Drew serious:

Nancy Drew, Bess and George are staying with this lady who has a lot of cats, who are being stolen.  There is also strange tapping sounds in the house.  Nancy and her friends try to stop the thief and figure out who is doing the tapping.


The Clue of the Black Keys;  Nancy Drew serious:
Terry Scott has asked Nancy Drew to help him find lost treasure and his missing friend.  Nancy and Terry  search for these things together helping each other out.

The Mysterious Benedict society and the Prisoner's Dilemma:

Four kids, (Reynie, Kate, Sticky, and Constance) are all in hiding including their guardians.  From a man who wants to take over the world.  Things go wrong and everyone is in danger.  It is now up to the children to save them all.  I liked these book a lot!!

    I think your doing great Alyssa, didn't seem like you stopped at all. Besides it's summer time your supposed to be outside not curled up in a book.
