Not Part of the Plan- GirlDefined

I was so thankful to again be chosen to be a part of the launch team for GirlDefined’s new book: “Not Part of the Plan: Trusting God with the twists and turns of your story.” I was so excited when they announced this new book. I’ve been so encouraged as I’ve followed the story of Bethany’s long journey of singleness and Kristen’s trial of infertility. Their openness to these struggles have encouraged me so much as I see their love for the Lord grow even in the midst of hard. I remember hearing Kristen share of her third miscarriage at the 2019 GirlDefined conference- months after a big and hard life disappointment for me. I was lost and confused and my only hope was to cling to the Lord as my life didn’t go in the direction I had hoped it would. And hearing the struggle Kristen had gone through and how the Lord comforted and worked in her heart was so helpful.  I was so excited to read this book. I’ve loved every book of theirs. A few more books!

Sorry I haven't written in a while, busy. But not busy enough to read. I have a lot of books; I’ve read a lot since the last book.

“The Flying Saucer Mystery; Nancy Drew Series”:
Nancy and her friends are going camping, and they just can't go camping without a mystery involved.  A flying saucer was seen ten years ago and now it is coming back!  Can Nancy Drew and her friends find the flying saucer?  This book I really enjoyed!

“The Thirteenth Pearl; Nancy Drew Series”:
A jeweler gets robbed of a very valuable jewel.  Can Nancy and her friends find the thirteenth pearl?

“The Secret of the forgotten City; Nancy Drew Series”:
Nancy and her friends are all going to NEVEDA to search for the forgotten city and treasure.  But before they go, the stones (telling where the treasure is) get stolen!  Can Nancy Find the city without the stone?

“Write Me if You Dare!”
Maddie Pruitt and her dog were walking in the frost when she spotted a blue balloon that said, “Write me if you dare.”  Maddie writes a letter to the person named Pearl.  This note leads to thrilling adventures.

“The Circuit”
Panchito and his big family are moving back and forth looking for work.  Will they ever live in one place?

    HI ALYSSA, IT IS GRANDMA, AND I'M HERE TO SAY WHAT A WONDERFUL TIME I'M HAVING READING YOUR BLOG. SO MANY BOOKS, SO LITTLE TIME. WE SAW UNCLE EDDIE, ANTHONY, STACIE, AND BABY TROY YESTERDAY AT A PARK. ANTHONY HAD A BASEBALL GAME AND UNCLE KYLE AND I WENT TO SEE HIM PLAY. HE LOST THOUGH, AND UNCLE KYLE HAD TO GO TO WORK, SO WE ONLY SAW ONE GAME, BUT ANTHONY PLAYED VERY WELL, IT WAS HIS TEAM THAT DID NOT PLAY VERY WELL. I'M SO GLAD YOU ENJOY READING YOUR BOOKS.
