Not Part of the Plan- GirlDefined

I was so thankful to again be chosen to be a part of the launch team for GirlDefined’s new book: “Not Part of the Plan: Trusting God with the twists and turns of your story.” I was so excited when they announced this new book. I’ve been so encouraged as I’ve followed the story of Bethany’s long journey of singleness and Kristen’s trial of infertility. Their openness to these struggles have encouraged me so much as I see their love for the Lord grow even in the midst of hard. Mr. Turept Falls Again

We just finish reading Mr. Turept Falls Again for read-out-loud for school.  This book was the sequel to Because of Mr. Turept (the last book we read for read-out-loud) which we all really loved, because it was a cute and sad story.
This one was a bit disappointing.  It had the same characters, same scenes, but added drama.
First of all this book is about sixth graders though it seems like, with the kids thoughts, deeds and words that they are more like high-school aged kids.  There were things in there that were inappropriate for the ages of the kids who would be reading them and details that children shouldn't be worried or even be thinking about.
The plot was cute and touching, but not comparable to the first one, 'Because of Mr. Turept'.
